I am pleased to present to you the annual report of the parish. While this report cannot display the spiritual growth of our community it can present the parish statistics, our Outreach Ministry, the building improvements accomplished this year and the financial report.
While the statistics and building improvement reports speak for themselves, I wanted you to see a summary of the parish finances because this is your parish and so it is important that you know where your parish stands financially. Your continued support of our parish’s mission through your financial contributions is essential to the quality programs and services we provide the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish community.
The financial report presents the operations of the parish that your contributions support.
The Our Light … Our Hope Campaign that we worked on together to begin to address the $2,980,066 debt of our parish has raised pledges of $1,325,621. The parish makes a $12,500 monthly payment of principal and interest on the loan. Since the end of the fiscal year the parish has made an additional principal payment on our loan of $162,217 which brings the total we have paid toward the parish loan since the beginning of the 16 – 17 fiscal year to $312,216. Our present loan balance is $2,561,473.
I am grateful to the members of this council who are always available to answer your questions regarding the parish finances. They are: Pat Aubry, John Bibish, Mike Gory, Glenda Maher, John Morrissey and Beth Smotherman.
In the Most Blessed Sacrament,
Rev. Msgr. Michael R. Billian, VF Pastor
