Thank you from our Seminarians

Dear Parishioners of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish:

We would like to thank each and every one of you who gave so generously to the seminarian collection that was take up a couple of weeks ago after all of the weekend Masses. In addition, we would also like to thank Fr. Geiger for all of the support he has given us already and in allowing us the opportunity to provide all of you with an update on our discernment journeys.

As we read in Chapter 12 of the Gospel of Mark, there is a poor widow who contributed two coins into the treasury. For many people two coins may not sound like much, but for the widow it was all she had and was truly generous with her offering. We would like to thank all of you who were generous enough to be able to financially give a donation of any amount.

As many of you may know, our tuition expenses at seminary are covered thanks to the generosity of so many of you here at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish and those at all of the other parishes throughout the Diocese of Toledo through the Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA). We are truly blessed by the generosity of this parish with donating to the ACA and reaching our parish goal year after year and we both want to thank you. However, all of our personal expenses that we have such as insurance, car repairs, gas, toiletries, occasional seminarian outings for dinner or ice cream, etc. are not covered by the ACA. Since our primary focus is on our seminary formation and studies, we are not able to work and are responsible for paying for all personal expenses.

We would both like to assure all of you that your money will be used to help offset the various expenses that we are responsible for paying and that your donations will not be wasted. Your generosity to us is greatly appreciated and will greatly help both of us out throughout the upcoming year at seminary.

Finally, both of us would like to extend an invite to all of you to come visit or even to write us at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West in Cincinnati. The seminary address is 6616 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45230. We would be thrilled to be able to offer any of you a tour of the seminary and maybe visit a Cincinnati-based eatery, such as Skyline Chili or Graeter’s Ice Cream.Thank you again to all of the parishioners, Fr. Geiger, and Staff of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish for your support both financially, and even more in your continuous prayers for us. Please know that we are praying for you. God bless you all!

Sincerely,

Brad McNeal & Kevin Moebius
