Teens Encounter Christ is a dynamic, life-giving experience based on the Paschal Mystery: the dying, rising, and mission of Jesus Christ. This three day retreat is an opportunity for young people from around the Diocese to gather and meet others who share in their joys and struggles, realizing that all are part of a larger Church community.
All High School Juniors and Seniors throughout the Diocese are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to discover God in a real and relevant way in their lives. It is an encounter with Christ – Risen and ALIVE today.
All Retreats are sponsored by the Diocese of Toledo Office of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministry and are held at the Basilica & National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation and Retreat Center in Carey, Ohio. The cost for the TEC Retreat is $120 which covers lodging, all meals and snacks. Financial assistance is available if needed.

All retreats begin on Saturday morning and end around 6pm on Monday evenings. Area schools are supportive of this opportunity and excuse absences for the retreat.
