ADORE (7th-12th)

ADORE is a series of Sunday evening gatherings designed to help teens grow in faith, form lasting friendships, and discover their place in the Church. Open to all 7th through 12th graders from our parish, school, and surrounding community, ADORE offers a space to encounter Jesus, grow in community, and build a strong foundation for life.

All events are led by Ryan Adamson and the ADORE Volunteer Team.

There is road work on Bellevue Road expected to be done throughout the Summer by the city. Please be aware of the potential need to park beside the Church or around Close park.

Location: The Donnelly Neighborhood Center

The Donnelly Neighborhood Center is located right next to Close Park along Bellevue Road, and just north of our church. The Center is home to our School, Gym, Kitchen, and Kelly Room.

Children/Teens will enter through the main doors off of Bellevue Road, get signed in, and follow the instructions of the ADORE volunteers. An exact Google Maps pin for the building is provided below.

There are no fees associated with ADORE. However we do ask that families please donate dinner(s) to ADORE. We are usually looking to feed 30-40 people per event, (that includes our volunteers). The simpler the better is always safe. If families want to team up to help with a dinner that is also always an option. 

If anyone is interested in donating to ADORE that is also welcomed.

Check donations are to be presented to the Director of Formation and Engagement (Ryan Adamson) or the parish office and written out to “Most Blessed Sacrament Parish” and “ADORE” in the memo. 

Cash donations are to be presented to the Director of Formation and Engagement (Ryan Adamson) or the parish office. 

Communication

Communications related to all Youth Faith Formation programs will primarily be sent out to the emails addresses and phone numbers provided in the registration form, from The Director of Formation and Engagement (Ryan Adamson). Families may also receive emails via our parish wide Constant Contact tool, and text messages.

A Safe Environment

Our parish is committed to providing safe, well-structured environments for children and youth. To do this well, we follow diocesan requirements and parish procedures that help ensure all adults serving in these ministries are properly trained, screened, and supported. The Youth Faith Formation VIRTUS Guide outlines what is initially required to volunteer to work with minors, why these steps matter, and how to complete them. It is intended to be a clear, practical reference for both new and returning volunteers.
