The Book: Opening Your Heart
Whether you are brand new to Bible study or have been exploring Scripture for years, Opening Your Heart: The Starting Point is the foundational study for Walking with Purpose. This 22-lesson study serves as an inspiring guide to deep, lasting transformation of the heart, helping you form a personal relationship with Christ and find meaningful answers to life’s biggest questions through the context of our Catholic faith.
Together, we will explore core questions that touch our everyday lives:
– How can I conquer my fears?
– What is the role of the Holy Spirit in my life?
– What does the Eucharist have to do with my friendship with Christ?
– What are the limits of Christ’s forgiveness?
– Why and how should I pray?
– What is the role of suffering in my life?
Participants will need to purchase the Opening Your Heart study guide directly from the Walking with Purpose Website (approximately $60, including tax and shipping) and bring a Bible to each session. Purchase the book at the button below.
Location: The Donnelly Neighborhood Center
The Donnelly Neighborhood Center is located right next to Close Park along Bellevue Road, and just north of our church. The Center is home to our School, Gym, Kitchen, Kelly Room. An exact Google Maps pin for the building is provided below.
