And for anyone who wants to jump in and be part of what makes it happen, volunteer opportunities and sponsorship details are here too. However participation looks this Lent, we can’t wait to welcome everyone in. Location: The Donnelly Neighborhood Center
The Donnelly Neighborhood Center is located right next to Close Park along Bellevue Road, and just north of our church. The Center is home to our School, Gym, Kitchen, and Kelly Room.
Volunteering at the Fish Fry is one of the easiest and most meaningful ways to support the parish during Lent. These Fridays do a lot behind the scenes, helping strengthen parish finances while also giving our community a steady place to gather, reconnect, and welcome neighbors. Volunteers step into a well run operation with clear roles, good teamwork, and plenty of support, whether it is serving food, helping in the dining room, running carry out, or pitching in with setup and cleanup. Every shift matters, and that generosity is truly appreciated.
Sponsorship is a powerful way to step into the Fish Fry story and help make the whole season possible. These dinners are a major fundraiser for Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, and with food and supply costs continuing to rise, sponsor support helps keep this tradition strong while also keeping it a true community gathering for Toledo. Sponsors are recognized throughout the season on our weekly sponsor board, social media, and in the bulletin, and many levels include Fish Fry dinner tickets as a thank you.
