Karen has been a member of Most Blessed Sacrament parish since 1979. She has served the parish as Sunday School director which eventually became the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. That program is directed towards young children ages 3 to 6 on Sundays, Kindergarten to 3rd grade during school. She also helps with religious ed which is kindergarten thru 3rd grade. The space used for the program is the Good Shepherd Atrium located in the grade school. Karen is also the formation leader for the Good Shepherd Catechesis for the Diocese of Toledo. Karen also holds the position of President of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites of the Toledo Diocese.
